I am an Assistant Professor of Education at Boston University's Wheelock College of Education & Human Development.
My research addresses inequality in K-12 public education, with a focus on teacher labor markets and the link between crime and education.
My work has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Public Economics, Economics of Education Review, Education Finance and Policy, and Educational Researcher. It has also been featured in various media outlets such as the New York Times, Washington Post, and FiveThirtyEight.
I received my Ph.D. in Public Policy from Harvard University in 2020.
